We know that the majority of Phytoterapeuticals produced in Venezuela are mostly manufactured with foreign plants and the scarce information avaible of our flora deprives us of some plants potentially promisory to health.

One of the fields of research at Vita Plant Laboratory is on Venezuelan flora and its popular uses. it icludes field work, reproduction and cultivation in its initial stage. This work is carried out in cooperation and exchange with National and Foreing Universitis.
